These helmets protect your entire head including your face, so they are a great choice for any rider. They also insulate your hearing from engine noise as well as offering a little protection from the sun's UV rays.

Remember that there is no such thing as good motorbike helmets which have been previously used. New is the only way to go here - you can never tell if the helmet has been damaged and will no longer protect your head; always, always, always buy new - this cannot be stressed enough.

It can be easy to find a good motorbike helmet, however so don't despair. Just do your homework and choose one which will provide a high level of protection while meeting your other criteria. Having the right motorbike helmet will make your riding more comfortable and safe - and safety should always come first when you ride.
