There are different types of vehicle that we can ride. One of the most feared is the motorcycle. It is a ride built for excitement. Unlike cars and trucks, you will be very exposed to world. The only protection that you have is the ones that you have on your body. When you increase speed, you can easily feel the wind on your face. Riding it makes you look as if you are gliding. It is fun to ride it, but no doubt, any parent of your girlfriend will definitely hesitate to have their daughters riding at the back of the motorcycle.

However, there will always be a key to safe riding even when you use a motorcycle. Once you learn it, you will enjoy the reaping off the benefits of having it. You do not have to worry about traffic jams at all times and even parking space. Getting to your destination can be easy and on top of that, you can enjoy the scenery without having to roll the windows down. Therefore, take these simple steps on riding a motorcycle safely and know them by heart:

� Never drink and drive. The thrill of driving drunk may be very appealing to you especially when you do speeding. Never ever do this if you do not want to end your life soon.

� Overtaking other vehicles can be done when you can actually see the road or when no one is coming from the other end. Do not even think about doing this especially at night.

� Avoid tailgating. Always keep distance from other vehicle. If you are doing it for fun, it is suggested you quit while you are at it before you bump in to the vehicle in front of you.

� Know where you are passing by. The road is not smooth at all times. Therefore, if you do not want to be thrown (from where you are seated) slow down on unknown roads.

� You need to do a maintenance check regularly (most especially when you do long range driving) to ensure that all parts are working well.

� Know how to select quality protection gear. Select the best leather motorcycle gloves, helmet, boots, jackets, suits and eyewear.

� Always drive defensively. As much as possible, you need to stay away from vehicles that are closing in to you.

Help yourself to keep on enjoying one of the most exciting rides you can have in your life. Doing all this things will remove the doubts of riding a motorcycle. Anyone who will ride with you can feel the difference. The parents of your girl will be confident if you show them how you practice all of these things (especially the protective gear part).
