Motorcycle Auctions- Find a great motorcycle at an online motorcycle auction

Shopping for a motorcycle is easy if you use online motorcycle auctions. The research can be done in front of your computer or at a dealer. In these tough economic times, saving money on the purchase of your motorcycle is vital. Dealers mark up their motorcycles to pay for their staff, the building, etc., while purchasing a motorcycle online only the seller profits.

When you find the motorcycle you are looking for i recommend asking the seller for information on the shape the motorcycle is in. A few questions should be: 1) What is the age of the driver? Sometimes this is telling of how the motorcycle has been ridden. Buying a motorcycle from a first-time rider is risky. You usually don't want to buy a motorcycle that someone learned how to ride on. 2) What condition is it in? How are the tires, brakes, paint, chrome, and if it has any cosmetic flaws or damages. 3) Who has done the maintenance and when was the last time the fluids have been changed? 4) What was the general purpose of the motorcycle for the rider? Was it used as a daily driver, weekends only, long trips? This will help you get a feel for how it was ridden. If the seller says 'I just took it out for drag races on the weekend', it my be time to move on!

You will always find great deals through motorcycle auctions if you search hard enough. I recommend going to a dealer and sitting on the motorcycle you are pursuing and test-riding it. Make sure the feel for the bike is right, then when your ready to buy you have all the information you need.
